This book is a bilingual language Thai-English. It's the complete Buddha images in Thailand. The author Waranun Chutchawantipakorn started the project to photograph sacred Buddha images and based his choices on the guidance given in His Royal Highness Prince Damrong Rajanubhab's Legends of Important Buddha Images and The Stories of Important Buddha Images published by the Department of Religious Affairs. He began another, this time serious round of journeys in and out of Bangkok to the upcountry to photograph the images for this book, which took more over 10 years to complete. In almost all the cases, He employed natural light or went along with the lighting as done by the temple itself to illuminate the sculpture, with the purpose of recording photographic impressions that exactly approximate what an interested person would have seen with his own eyes should he choose to travel to the sites and worship the images himself. All relevant details to help accomplish the deed are furnished in this book.
